The Pizza Omelette

I kept wondering if I ever did actually have a chance to share the recipe of The Pizza Omelette with the blog. It certainly is one of our favorite breakfast meals here at home. Although the Breakfast of Patriots is definitely one of our top favorites, the comeback of The Pizza Omelette is exactly what our family needed. If I did not actually share it with you ever, then I am sorry you haven't had the opportunity to try this out.

 

 

I'm not even going to beat around the bush with this one. Without further ado, I present to you The Pizza Omelette! In memory of all those lost on September 11th, this breakfast meal is for you.

The Pizza Omelette

 

You will have a little taste of pizza heaven when you try The Pizza Omelette!

 

 

 

Prep time: 5 mins

Cook time: 15 mins

Total time: 20 mins

Serves: 4

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients

 

Toppings

  • ¼ red onion, sliced

  • ¼ yellow pepper, diced

  • Handful of chives, chopped

  • ¼ cup marinara sauce

  • ¼ cup mini pepperoni

  • 4 oz mozzarella pearls

 

Instructions

  1. Spray pan with oil. Heat to medium high. Scramble eggs & seasoning in a bowl. Add the scramble to your pan. Cook for approximately 10 minutes.

  2. Chop up veggies.

  3. Add marinara sauce. Spread evenly over the omelette. Cook for two minutes. Add your toppings. Sprinkle with seasoning. Cook until cheese is evenly melted. Remove from heat.

  4. Using a pizza cutter, cut into slices. Serve.

 

Notes

  • Toppings are interchangeable.
