Thai Burgers

I have given black bean burgers a shot way too many times. I have had many end results: gooey, goopy, dry, crumbly, just plain yuck! My wife's aunt, Lisa, has made black bean burgers countless times with much success. She always motivates me to try to make black bean burgers just wants more. Her black bean burgers are so tasty and scrumptious; they will keep you coming back for more. I guess with these Thai Burgers you could see who I learned from and I learned from the best.

 

Each time I made an attempt at black bean burgers, as I have mentioned before, we are all quite disappointed. With all things that I have cooked before, you I would expect that I would be able to make delicious black bean burgers. Unfortunately, that has not been the case.

 

 

The other day, I woke up refreshed with a new idea. I wanted to give black bean burgers another try! Of course, as soon as I mentioned this, Marylex cringed. She already knows what my black bean burgers taste like and they are not good. I promised her that if they tasted disgusting I would not let her try them and I would toss them right away. I have plenty of hope and myself this time around.

 

I have to be honest, when I started mixing all the ingredients together to make the perfect Thai Burgers, I was quite scared myself that they would be another failed attempt at black bean burgers. Let me begin to tell you folks! These Thai Burgers are absolutely no joke. I couldn’t even believe that myself! Nonetheless, when Marylex took her first bite, she couldn’t believe it either.

Thai Burgers

 

 

Thai food meets the American veggie burger! These Thai Burgers are the perfect combination of sweet & savory, made only out of all natural ingredients.

 

 

 

 

Prep time: 5 mins

Cook time: 15 mins

Total time: 20 mins

Serves: 6

 

 

 

 

Ingredients

 

Instructions

  1. Drain black beans. Mince garlic.

  2. In a food processor, add all ingredients. Pulse until smoothly combined. Transfer burger meat to a medium bowl. Roll up burgers into medium size balls. Flatten in the palm of your hand to create a patty.

  3. Lightly grease a large pan with oil. Cook two patties at a time 2-3 minutes on each side. Repeat until no patties are left.

  4. Serve patties with a side of veggies or homemade fries!
