Sugar Plum Joint Scrub

December 14, 2013

This Christmas, gifts are from the heart and in mason jars. This is not to say that gifts from previous years have not been heartfelt. We just wanted to focus more specifically on mason jars than anything. Last year, we made fresh nut butter personalized to each recipient’s taste. Most of the family & friends that were on the receiving end, took their first bite that same Christmas after gift giving in the evening.

Now that we live in another city and won’t be spending it with all of our loved ones, we thought we would curate some homemade scrubs & soaks that would last all year long, and; of course, they are going to be gifted in precious mason jars. These always seem to be the best, most long-lasting gifts. Anything in a mason jar is a prize all in itself. I will be honest, I have had some family members give me back their empty mason jars after using up their gifts. Although some would take that as insulting, I know what they mean…THEY WANT A REFILL! Haha

Be this all as it may, you can make these for your family members & friends alike. It is so simple & smells so good. I cannot wait to see the look on all my beautiful ladies faces and feel their soft, silky joints when they use it the first time. The ladies + gals were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of sweet Sugar Plum Joint Scrub danced in their heads.

Edit: 7 months later, all our favorite ladies + gals are still using their scrub as well as traveling with them. You can, too!
