Do you like Spicy Mayo? Every single time we go out to eat sushi, we ask for a small serving. A little goes a long way and it sure tastes great. We love to buy sushi from Publix, one of our local grocery stores, and bring it home for a refreshing lunch. Sometimes they have fresh Spicy Mayo available and sometimes they are completely out. Bummer, I know.
Recently, I went out to grab some sushi at Publix to bring home to my lady as a surprise. I was so annoyed when I saw they had no Spicy Mayo. As I turned around to leave, the sushi guy called me over and asked if I needed anything. I am sure he saw the glee in my eyes when I said, " Do you have any Spicy Mayo today?" He shook his head and I nodded in acknowledgement.
This super nice sushi guy from Publix glanced around and then asked me to come closer. Kind of creepy but I had a good feeling about it. He whispers, "Do you know how to make your own Spicy Mayo? It's super easy". I quickly explained to him that my girlfriend and I mix mayo with sriracha from time to time to add to our burgers or dip sweet potato fries it but that it never tastes the same as store-bought Spicy Mayo or like from a restaurant. He giggled and said, "Toasted sesame oil is the secret ingredient. Don't tell anybody." And he disappeared.
Well, it's been weeks now and I could only keep my mouth shut for so long because this Spicy Mayo is the real deal. You ready to be mind blown? You probably have all three ingredients right in your kitchen.
Want to make your own Spicy Mayo at home? You'll never want to eat any other kind again now that you have uncovered the secret ingredient.
