Happy Valentine's Day, lovebirds!
As per always, I love holidays and I love all things sweethearts so this year I went ham on the Target dollar section Valentine stuff to make this adorable Sparkling Valentine's Day Wreath.
Last year, you all know how obsessed I was with decorating the house using sweetheart candies. Most times, I come up with these ridiculous and crazy decor ideas that don't work out OR I have to break my back to make it happen. And theeeen, the next year, everything I used or made becomes popular. Much to my dismay, everything at Target for V-Day is ALL focused on sweetheart candies. What kind of crazy shit is that?! Lol. So of course I decided to make something cute, sparkling and sweet for Valentine's Day.
Which reminds me... There is this cute little wall on the cubicles of Purple that asks us what we love about working there. Our bosses left us cute scrapbook paper clippings, sparkling heart stickers, Sharpies and pins to put them up. For me, I am just so grateful to have such a great team of people to work around who lift me up. I have never had that. In all the years of freelance interpreting working with all kinds of terps, I haven't ever had the chance to comingle like this with other interpreters that are just like me. There is a dryness associated with freelance interpreters and I don't know why. I absolutely love being able to connect with like-minded individuals. God is good.
I wish you all the best day of love, ever. Celebrate your friendships, your kids, your family and everyone around you. Enjoy each other's company.
