Shark Steaks

Let's take the salt life to another level with these perfect Shark Steaks!

We love hanging out with our friends Melissa and Chris. I’m sure you’ve read other stories before this one up on the blog. They are just such a blessing to our lives. They bring so much joy to us when in fellowship and we thank God for that. Having good, strong, healthy and Christian-based relationships is so hard these days!

Most people have a huge issue with the fact that we are gay. It’s kind of annoying because I hate labels. We’re just two women whom God chose to love each other; can we just leave it at that? We know for a fact that our relationship is sent straight from the heavens; however, many people still choose to judge. On top of this, having friends is just difficult as an adult.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that we have a hard time making friends that lead stable lives, especially at our age. We’re pretty young and a lot of the people out there in their late 20s are still eating a lot of shit. These days, it’s difficult to trust people. For me, especially, I am really hard up about getting my trust to others. Call me old-fashioned, If you must! I do have a very good point though. I don’t mean to sound uptight and rude when I say, “There is no point in having friends if there is no positive influence and/or beneficial outcome of the relationship.” This isn’t meant to be interpreted incorrectly. If a relationship you have with the person is nothing but negative or has no benefit at all, what exactly is the point of having each other around just to keep each other miserable?

Friends like Melissa and Chris are just so hard to come by these days. They are genuine and humble. Do you have friends like these that are absolutely irreplaceable? Of course, with that being said, they are older than us. Maybe that’s where they get their maturity level from.
