Lemon Water Prep

I meant to share this last Sunday but kept forgetting! Thank God, I finally remembered to share with you all. This is easy to make and nice to have on hand for on the go. Lemon water is SO good for you. I always rant and rave about the benefits of this to family and friends so I thought I would repost those and share my Lemon Water Prep benefits.

 

 

This post is all about the benefits of my Lemon Water Prep with the addition of cayenne pepper and/or ground cinnamon. I have begun replacing my morning coffee with this mixture. I think I am never going back. This does not mean I will eliminate coffee forever. But if I can rid myself of the caffeine addiction, I will be one happy gal.

 

Here goes the benefits of lemons, cayenne pepper and ground cinnamon in my daily or weekly Lemon Water Prep:

 

Lemons

  • Aids digestion

Cinnamon

  • Regulates blood sugar

  • Alleviates arthritis pain

Every other Monday, I do my Lemon Water Prep to drink every day of the week. It is my wonderful routine that uplifts me and gives me enough energy to put the "Mondays" in the trash where they belong! It is the time to live, breathe, enjoy and just be. Don't let Monday be an excuse. Don't be the reason you didn't get the best of you, you will regret it later.

Lemon Water Prep

Cook time: 3 mins

Total time: 5 mins

Serves: 1

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients

  • 8 oz water

  • Juice of a lemon

 

Optional

  • Cayenne pepper

  • Ground cinnamon

 

Instructions

  1. Juice your lemon by squeezing, pressing, or churning through a juicer. Add to your warm or room temperature water.

  2. Add cayenne, cinnamon or both

  3.
