Shots! Shots! Shots! Shots! Shots! Everybooooody. Shots!


Lo and behold, we’re letting the good times roll with these heavenly King Cake Pudding Shots. You can make them virgin by excluding the deliciously perfect Pinnacle vodka with the flavor inspired by King Cake, the infamous celebratory Mardi Gras cake.



Lucky Plastic Baby


We went above and beyond by pushing in a secret token into one of the King Cake Pudding Shots, as per French tradition. This said token is a lucky miniature plastic baby toy.



With much meaning behind it, those who make King Cake know that you have to sneak in the mini baby into one slice of cake or, in this case, into one of our creamy and powerful King Cake Pudding Shots.


Fun Drinks


Tradition says whoever gets the baby in their King Cake is predicted to have wonderful year of good luck ahead of them. Not all people are aware of this French tradition so if you choose to use the traditional mini plastic baby in your pudding shots, warn all those indulging in the shots that one of them will have a secret token.



Of course, that’s the perfect moment to fill them in on a little history while they taste the most decadent King Cake Pudding Shots known to man. We love to make fun drinks for our friends to enjoy. And…Who knows, maybe you’ll get the baby!



King Cake Pudding Shots


If you choose to use the traditional mini plastic baby, warn all those indulging in the King Cake Pudding Shots that one of them will have a secret token. Tradition says whoever gets the baby is said to have a wonderful year of good luck ahead of them.



Prep time:  2 mins

Cook time:  3 mins

Total time:  5 mins

Serves: 6









  1. Follow directions on the box of pudding using Fairlife milk and King Cake flavored vodka—work quickly. While still liquefied, separate each cup into a separate bowl. In the first bowl, add yellow coloring. In the second bowl, add green coloring. In the third bowl, add red & blue coloring to make purple. Whisk until combined.

  2. Fill each dessert shot glass with approximately 3 ½ tbsp of each pudding color: yellow, green, purple. Insert mini baby into one of the shots for good luck. Refrigerate.

  3. Crush pecans with a mallet or other tool. Mix pecans with cinnamon, sea salt and honey in a small bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds. Give it a whirl. Lay out candied pecans on a parchment paper lined plate. Freeze for 5 minutes.

  4. Remove pudding shots from fridge and candied pecans from freezer. Garnish each shot with a handful of crumbled King Cake topping.

  5. Serve.
