Garlic Honey

June 30, 2016

Infused honey is a great way to get all the natural benefits honey has to offer while adding it to your favorite dishes. Garlic Honey is a sweet and savory addition to any meal, you can even drizzle it on your morning toast!

We are completely head over heels for honey; these days it’s Garlic Honey, to be exact! You should see the various shelves in our pantry with an array of jars filled up with raw honey worldwide. Every single place we travel to we make it a point to pick up a bottle or a jar of honey. If they have a jug, well hey, we will take that too!

There is absolutely nothing like pulling over to the side of the road to meet beekeepers in places we know very well or don’t know at all. Most times, we choose the plain old natural honey versus the flavored kind that come whipped or creamed or infused. Nothing wrong with them at all, we have some in our stash—indeed.

Garlic Honey is sure something we have not seen on the store shelves yet, farmers market or corner stands alike. We have Cloister whipped lavender honey, Honey Ridge Farms creamed cinnamon spice honey and, the leader of the team, our latest and greatest Garlic Honey made fresh right here at home. I have been using Garlic Honey on everything from spreading it on gluten free bread, drizzling on my morning over easy eggs, and marinating some fancy steak to grill to the barbecue.

What will you use or cook with your fresh, homemade infused Garlic Honey?
