My niece, Lulu, is such a little ham! I am so happy to be involved. Way back when, I lived a sad and miserable double life. Nobody could bear to have me around. I was like a negative vibe all day, no matter what. Being in a relationship with Jesus has changed me from the inside out. Believe me, I am no preacher. My blog isn’t meant to shove my religious beliefs down one’s throat. I believe what I believe because I know the truth about Him. Either way, this changed me for the better. It gave me a new shot at life. It gave me a chance to know Lulu and to hold her and to love her.
I never really got tired of my family and friends shutting me out. I guess it may have been the fact that, deep down inside, I knew that I was the one shutting them out. I was the one not letting them love me. I was the one that wanted no help and the less friends I had the better. Now, I acknowledge how important it is to do life with people you love. Family is not always blood; I have mentioned this on the blog before. Sometimes God chooses family for you in the form of friends. I don’t have many of those. The ones I do have are family. I don’t need much else.
Oh! And, now that my wife and I are growing our family, we have been able to become more involved with our family and friends. That being said, everyone always comes to Orlando to visit us and stay for a weekend or two. Of course, not everyone is down with our healthy food. Most of the time, they haven’t even tried anything and they are already convinced it’ll be bad. When I whip out a jar of this bad boy Curry Mustard Sauce from the fridge, they all get giddy. This recipe has been passed on to all our family members, as per their request. Here is it, free of charge, no strings attached.
