11:11 on 11-11! How neat is that? I always make a wish @ 11:11... I mean when I see it on the clock.
Back in 2011, I started doing my own homemade Thanksgiving goodie bags and Christmas gifts. The very first DIY I took pictures of to share with other [but never did] were these Cinnamon Candle Gifts. They were a freaking hit! I gave some away for Thanksgiving and some more during Christmas.
Not only are these Cinnamon Candle Gifts adorable to decorate the house with, they are made using Glade candles which have a great scent throw. I chose to use pumpkin spice fragrance but you can also use fresh balsam fir or pine (if you are making these for Christmas). For an extra added touch, I like to wrap them up in cellophane paper as if it were a small basket. This makes for easy travel or transport as well as a beautiful finish.

4 Glade candles, pumpkin spice*
½ inch ribbon, grey
Buttons**

1 roll cellophane paper
Instructions
Plug in your hot glue gun.
Glue cinnamon sticks all around each Glade candle.
Cut a piece of ribbon long enough to wrap around each cinnamon candle. Glue it tightly around the cinnamon sticks.
Sort through your buttons and match one to each. Glue it front and center. Allow to dry.
If you wish to wrap it up for gifting, cut large pieces of cellophane paper to wrap each in. Use grey ribbon to tie a bow around the top.
Notes
If you want to use fresh balsam fir instead of pumpkin spice, go right ahead!
You can use any button(s) you'd like. We used recycled buttons that we have collected over the years.
