For a long time, I have been writing recipes with Caramelized Nuts as one of the ingredients. I get asked all the time, "But howwwww?" I can just imagine the frustration on making your own Caramelized Nuts at home. I remember being the one on your end of the rope reading recipes online that called for some Caramelized Nuts and I would just cringe.
I thought I was stuck without candied nuts for the rest of my life, being that all the ones sold in stores are full of sick ingredients! Either they start with high fructose corn syrup or end with maltodextrin. I will pass!
So, today, I will tell you all the how cause you already know the why. You ready?! Let's do this.
