Bloody Candles

October 1, 2017

Each year as Halloween rolls around, I make a stop at the dollar store (okay several stops) and pick up a few simple items to curate a set of these creepy Bloody Candles. I've hogged up this DIY tutorial for too long now so it is just about time to share it with y'all!

Simple and gruesome. Spooky and oozing. You can make your own Bloody Candles in just a few minutes for the perfect Halloween decor.

With a quick stop at Dollar Tree or Walmart or Michael's or even a quick Prime order from Amazon, you can have your own Bloody Candles for the scariest Halloween Home Decor ever.

Instructions

  1. Line up all three pillar candles on your decorative tray. Light the taper candle. Hold it sideways over the pillar candle so that the red wax may cover the top of each candle. About halfway through the taper candle, allow the wax to drizzle onto the tray to create pools of blood.

  2. Light up your pillar candles. Watch them actively bleed.
