Berry Yogurt Bites

July 6, 2015

Yogurt is not always my favorite. No matter how you put it, dairy is not my friend. I make exceptions for Fairlife products. But they don't have yogurt yet.

I’ll be real, yogurt doesn’t disagree with me. I just have a hard time picking a good granola to eat it with. I can bet my butt that I will find or make some soon enough. Until then, these Berry Yogurt Bites might be as close as you can get me to yogurt.

My wife's little cousin, Herlis, wanted to make white chocolate bark of some sort. Being that we do not eat sugar, white chocolate is completely out of the question. She was annoyed so I had to find a way to kill that urge she had with a better, healthier alternative option.

If I knew beforehand that this was in her fun filled plans for the week, I would’ve figured out how to get my hands on some real, fresh cacao butter. I have a spot online that I can order some—I have heard great reviews—just haven’t gotten around to it.

This is where the real deal of white chocolate comes from, anyhow. Now, white chocolate is one of the most processed chocolates on the market. As much as I have a hate-love relationship with yogurt, these Berry Yogurt Bites were a total hit! The creamy honey yogurt mixture was more than suffice to satisfy the craving she had to eat white chocolate. Top that off with fruit, and you’ve got yourself a sweet and refreshing summer treat.
