Bug repellent is all the rage when summer comes around in Florida. Everyone has it on and everyone is burning crazy candles and spraying toxic crap all over the damn place! I am just sick of it. We finally gave in and bought ourselves some pure citronella essential oil. It has been one of the best decisions we have made, yet!
There are so many uses for this essential oil and this has not yet shipped at the top layer of what I will be sharing with you this year. This is a quick and easy way to repel bugs in your own backyard. It's also very cool DIY to include your children.
This American Citronella Bug Repellent is the first of many citronella mason jar DIY projects I will be making throughout the year. I already have some wonderful ideas on what we will be doing to repel bugs throughout other seasons and months of the year. Maybe most of you do not live near us and do not need to repel bugs all your long; however, we live in Florida and we have to worry about bugs at all times. Hopefully this will be a nice and healthy way to help your family keep safe from bug bites this July 4th weekend!
